Westside Taphouse is Salem Oregon’s leading pub specializing in craft beer, cider, and wine. We have a relaxed and fun atmosphere for sampling and drinking beer from breweries in the pacific northwest and beyond! We are beer lovers. Our knowledgeable staff is ready to answer any of your questions and server you some of the greatest beer from our rotating taps. Let us help find you that perfect beer! We have an outdoor patio where you can sip on brews or inside at the bar where the locals hang out and relax with friends. Or you can take your craft beer in a custom growler to go. Or do both, it doesn’t get better than that!
WHAT is on TAP?
Typically we have 5 taps of hard cider, 1 tap of hard seltzer, 34 taps of craft beer ranging from a domestic offering, several pilsners and pales, 11 taps of IPA’s, 6 taps of dark beer, and 3 taps of sour ales.
Not to mention a couple of taps of kombucha, craft root beer, sangria, and 8 taps of red and white wines!

Mon, Wed, & Thurs from 3-6
ALL DAY on Tuesday!
Who doesn’t love Tuesday? Even better when you can get all day happy hour. Bring your computer, use the free wifi, and sit and get some work done.
Kegs to GO
YES! We do kegs to go! To inquire about buying a keg, just fill out our online form. We can get you almost anything if you give us more than a weeks notice. If you need it in less than a week then we will have to dip into our private stash and see what we have in our keg cooler, it is pretty good sized but we will only have what we have on hand. Oh yeah, and of course, you must be at least 21 years old to order and pick up a keg.
Games and Events
Enjoy a pint of beer or a glass of wine while you play a round of “Cards Against Humanity” with your friends. Bring your own game to share, or come willing to play anything! Either way, it is a great way to spend your Tuesday evening at West Side Tap House.
This is team trivia and your team can have 1 – 6 people. If you have more than 6, we will ask you to split into two teams.
About Donny & Karen
It all started while Donny and Karen were living in Southern Oregon. They became friends with a couple who had spent time in Germany while in the military. Their love of German beer and how hard it was to find it here rubbed off on them. That search lead to a love of local craft beer. Seeking it out new ones to try became a serious passion. Once back in Salem, Donny developed a serious homebrew habit, and eventually the idea to start a tap house grew from there. West Side Tap House was born!
